Thousand Oaks LP-3 O-III
I have the two inch version of the OIII and use with my 32mm University Optics Konig. Works exceptionally! Will never forget the first view of the Helix with this combination in my 13.1 Coulter....breathtaking! Same for the veil nebula. I did however have to purchase a filter cell from UO to allow the OIII to fit properly.

10's right accross the board. An exceptional performer in telescopes 8" and larger. Works well on emmission nebulae, though it excels on planetary nebulae like M27 in Vulpecula, and M57 in Lyra. Very happy with my 1.25 " Thousand Oaks O-III filter.

An excellent alternative to the populor Lumicon OIII. I have had very memorable views of the Veil with this filter. I like the coloured filter ring - nice touch. A keeper!

Very good as seeing the veil nebula, although
not as useful in smaller telescopes due to the
amount of light it takes away. Probably the only
filter I'd consider owning (I've used other serveral
types of filters). I've used lumicon's O-III as well.
There isn't much of a difference as far as I can tell.
Though some poeple claim that it can make a difference on
red stars. Supposedly sirius optics might have a cheaper
version (I don't know).
