TeleVue Radian 14mm
I use the Radian in a 14" f/4.7

When I first got it, I didn't see anything remarkable, but over time I have noticed it is the first EP I reach for. Great eye relief. Nice image to the edges. Not as good on clarity as my Orthos, but then, I don't have to look through a pin hole.

TeleVue Radian 14mm
I purchased my 14mm used and I must say it has become the first mid power EP that I reach for. I am very pleased with the Contrast across the entire FOV. Excellent planetary eyepiece. Barlows well. After learning to use the inadjust mechanism I can hit the sweet spot everytime and find it to be a great help. This EP is well worth the used price of $180 I paid.

TeleVue Radian 14mm
I hate to give anything a 10 because it represents perfect. Maybe the optics on this eyepiece could be better but I have not seen a ep yet that was as sharp, contrasty and comfortable. What surprised me was how bright the ep is, I did not expect 6 elements to compete in brightness with my simpler ep's, but it does. This is now my favorite ep and I will be purchasing more Radians as I can afford them. Eye relief is wonderfull for eyeglass wearers and with the instajust it works great for noneyglass wearers. My only complaint is that the instajust on my Radian was too loose and would not hold its position with the lightest touch. I got directions from Tele Vues site on how to increase the tension of the spring wire and that fixed it. Very nice when used with my Genesis SDF and my Meade ETX 60 (lazy day telescope).

TeleVue Radian 14mm
The best of the bunch. I have the 8-18mm Radians and this one is my favorite. Contrast, Field of veiw and eye relief is
all there for you. Even the ajustment thing works well on this one. I really like the view this one gives me in my nexstar 11.
It's a really fine eyepiece.but like all the Radians over priced.

TeleVue Radian 14mm
Maybe it's just my particular sample, but I don't find it as exceptional as its 10mm brother. Compared to the Pentax XL 14mm, it's not even in the hunt! The 10mm was the first Radian that I purchased, and even though I dislike the insta-click system,(it feels cheap) I loved the optics. Edge to edge sharpness were excellent, but not so this one. It's hard to get a pleasing focus, even with a 4" apochromat, whereas the Pentax is a gem. Maybe it's just mine,as I said, but I find it hard to recommend at the price.

TeleVue Radian 14mm
I compared the 14mm Radian against the 15mm Panoptic... I found the 14mm offered less contrast for planetary views with a C14 and a 22" F/4.5 newtonian. I was quite disapointed and sold the 14mm Radian.

TeleVue Radian 14mm
My favoraite mid power eyepiece with my 5" Intes Mak, my favorite medium high power eyepiece with my NexStar 11 GPS. Crisp, high contrast views, with a 60 degree AFOV and 20mm eye relief. What more could I ask for?

TeleVue Radian 14mm
Just bought this EP used, and am I glad I did! This is one excellent EP thank you Al Nagler. And wearing glasses the sliding thing works great for me. This EP is as sharp as anything I have used period. I am impressed! Using this on a TV 102 at F8.6 and haven't tried it on my 12.5" reflector yet but I bet it will be awsome on globular clusters. It is sharper than my 12.5 Ultima and what really surprizes me is it a fine hair better than my all time favorite 9mm Nagler. Will have to see how well it does against a TAK LE 5mm I just ordered.

Outstanding eyepiece: Clear to the edge, Contrasty, wonderful for use at starparties with the click adjustment for eyeglass users. Good for day use too, straight lines stay straight.
