TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
If you can find one used do not hesitate to buy. My TV plossls are my "workhorse" set and the ones I grab when I want to hurry. The 10.5mm "smoothie" is one of my favorites for planets and high magnification viewing when coupled with a 2.5x powermate. Note that it will vignette in a standard barlow. This is highly noticable in daylight, less so at night. A fine eyepiece for the price if you can get one.

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
For what it purports to be this eyepiece is a 10, IMO.
Very high light transmission, sharpness and contrast.
Much more light transmission and sharper than a 10mm ultrascopic to my eyes.
At the same time field is not as large, eye reielf not as comfortable and field not as flat as a 10mm Ultrascopic IMO.
Eye relief is reasonably comfortable for non-eyeglass users.
Does tend to fog up in cold humid conditions when you bring your eye to it, unlike a long eye relief eyepiece.
When it isn't fogged up the image is good to the last drop!

10+++ In value for my 10" f/5,6 dob. Used with m 15mm TV plossl and a barlow, this mini set makes up my planetary EPs. Nice warm colors, GREAT contrast, very very little light scatter, and tack sharp. If you can live with the eye relief inherrent in plossls, this is a great piece to have for planets and globs.

Really good with planetaries too.

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
Televue are probably the best plossl I've used. Very sharp, I compared this to a UO ortho of about the same focal
length and I could not tell a difference in sharpness between
the plossl and the ortho. Cheap on the used market.

I borrowed a friends for a view of Saturn. I only have Harry Seiberts because of the value. I use a 4.0" off axis dob. I have had false color with the Seiberts, with this 10.5mm Tele Vue Saturn was unbelievable. No false color. My scope finally did what it was suppose to do gave a perfect view. As crisp as a OU ortho.

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
A very sharp eyepiece for viewing planets and double stars. Pair it with a high quality barlow or Powermate and you have a superb high-power combination with decent eye relief. A keeper if you can find one

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
A very nice eyepiece. Much better than the 11mm TV Pl I owned. Very sharp and contrasy views. Barlows well. Some scatter on the moon but that's the only object I've noticed it on. Highly recommended.

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
Great on contrast, finish, color correction, and stray light suppresion. I'd highly recommend it for DSO's, binaries, and clusters. I'm not quite as certain for its suitability for observing planets because it seems a trifle "softer" in resolution in comparison to my Ultimas and orthoscopics.

TeleVue Plossl 10.5mm
I see a few 10's here. yes its a good eyepiece but noticeably inferior to a zeiss 10mm ortho 0.96 morer light scatter less sharpness.

I owned 2 and both were identical.
