>I use a 9mm Type I on my 16-inch Newtonian. See my web page:- http://www.chess-dictionary-chesmayne.net/Index-Constellations.htm --- for an extensive discussion of my telescope(s) and accessories? I also have the 16mm Type II as well and a 2-inch Tele-Vue coma corrector. Yes - the 9mm is pretty good - pricy - but worth it due to the 82d wide-field and the flat-field when used with the coma corrector. Excellent when used on a 63mm Zeiss refractor. Now - how much did you say the 31mm Type IV was again?

>Awesome premium wide field EP. Made somewhat obsolete by the Radian EP's and their superior eye relief. Response: This is my most used eyepiece for my 10" f/4.5. It provides great contrast and allows me to see extra faint fuzzies in the field of view that I had missed before (e.g. near M81/82). My only criticism is that it is too heavy for most smaller scopes.
