Excellent and unique dob. Excellent optics. Focuser should be a R&P or Crayford for bino viewing. That would make it perfect for my use.

Teleport 10"
I love my 10" Teleport. I've had it for a couple of years now, and I'm still as happy with it as the day I got it. I think it's very easy to use, but there are some factors like collimation that go with the territory and make take some getting used to. I rate the value at 8 since it's the priciest 10" Dob around in addition to being the best. Overall, it gets a 10 from me, though, because it is worth it. This is a scope that gets used a LOT. I didn't want to buy a heavy system that I would balk at setting up. I use it mainly on the moon, planets, and globular clusters in my suburban backyard. Also, I have it on an Osypowski equatorial platform most of the time.

Everybody who has ever looked through my Teleport has been very very impressed. The best things about it are its great Zambuto optics, built-in eyepiece drawer, very smooth motions, ultra-lightweight construction and outrageous portability for a 10" scope.

Teleport 10"
Amazingly portable telescope. Wonderful star test when given the needed time to cool down. Collimation needs to be tweaked durig planetary observing sessions. Scope is setup and ready to go in minutes. Planetary views are breathtaking. One scope I will never part with. I am on the list for the ultra portable 7 inch model.

Perfect Star test, amazing mechanics, simple portability. Easy to use and align. It is half the weight and twice the istrument of most 10" Alt Azm telescopes. Pretty too!

Teleport 10"
Holds collimation well when the mount is moved, but one does have to collimate it before each use. Is very portable and light for a 10" - easily fits into a car seat. Star test was good. Mount is stable, but one needs to add better (heavier) counter weights than what is provided. A great scope for the money.
