Well, this anime is certainly worth a rent, and if you're into this kind of genre of transforming humans into powerful superbeings (i.e. Guyver, Hikaruon) this would be a nice addition to your collection. The story starts out very interesting in the first episode but weakens a bit during the second. The main protaganist is reluctant to co-operate with the other good guys to fight the evil and I felt too much time is devoted to this aspect. By the time you reach the third episode, you've got more mysterious violence (a strong point in the first installment) and the main battle at the end which didn't give me much of a feeling of complete resolution. Although slow-moving at times, the animation is fantastic, with great detail in the artwork. Watch this one just for the visuals if not the story.

I watched two episodes of this, but I thought they were interesting, so I'll vote for it, because it was good. Too bad they only had one volume for rent...
