I own a Tak 18mm ep and use it with my 102mm refractor. It provides excellent images...better than other brands at higher prices. It has generous eye-relief, as well. A good buy all the way around.

Takahashi LE 18mm
This was my first Takahashi LE. I was so impressed that I eventually acquired the whole set. I don't ordinarily associate the phrase 'a bargain' with gear that sports the Takahashi Logo, but this eyepiece really qualifies as one.

I can not stress enough how impressed I am with this eyepiece. Contrast is simply amazing, sharpness, perfect edge to edge. Visual comfort is great too, as easy on the eye as Vixen LVs, but WAY better optically.

Takahashi LE 18mm
This is a wonderful eyepiece. In addition to tight, crisp images across the field and generous eye-relief, it provides a respectable FOV (52*) and objects appear significantly brighter than many popular...and expensive...brands. Well worth the money.
