Description: | This is a special scope, two in one, you can switch from the 820mm Focal length Newton to the 2630 Cassegrain very easily. The mount is very sturdy and not to heavy. Stars are pinpoint, in a very good night Jovian galilean satellites are obvious disks. Optical tube is light and easy to transport, you can use the very good finder like a handle. Overall quality is astounding.
Only small problem : some mirror shifting. I like very much my CN 212 and i feel like having two scopes in one, and the added complexity is manageable.
It's popular in Europe, seems to be less popular in USA, i wonder why ! |
