Starlight Express MX716
I have the MX716 for a year now, and after testing other ccd's and built the Cookbook and Audine, I found this very easy to use, and the results (due to chip size and 8nm pixels) very good. The only problem could be the software. It's very simple, but lacks of some basic features, as image preprocessing, image series prefix naming, and so. Purchasing some soft, as Astroart or Maximdl is a must for working with this camera.
On the other hand, the SONY ccd low noise level allows working with unregulated peltier, making it easier.
