SkyWatcher PlÃ¶ssl 17mm

I got this 17mm PlÃ¶ssl soon after purchasing my 114mm Newton. It's a notch above the Kellner supplied with that telescope and filled a void in the magnification factors I had.
I no longer use it (sold). It has obvious abberations covering about 20 to 25% of the FOV, which mesures only 47Â° instead of the 50Â° indicated by SkyWatcher. Contrast isn't bad (DSOs are quite visible), good eye relief but some kidney bean.
Since other brands of PlÃ¶ssl are cheaper or offer a better quality/price ratio, I don't really recommand this one.

Evaluation was done using a 114mm f7.9 Newton and a 200mm f6.0 Dob
