Russell Optics 9mm
I recently got one, thought after all the positive revies, it would be a great deal, but frankly, in my opinion this ep is a lemon. Thanks, having only paid a few bucks.
Seems to me like TASCO lens in a 1.25" barrel.
Coatings are poor, field distortion horrible, short of eyerelief.
Better save money and buy really a Radian or a Pentax.
You get what you paid for.

Russell Optics 9mm
Great eyepiece made with Russian optics. Sadly, Mr. Russell doesn't make the 9mm much anymore. High resolution on planets and our Moon. Good eye relief. A down-side is that it is a heavy, 6" long eyepiece, which usually requires re-balancing of the Dob. I think the "mortar shell" is an excellent eyepiece and value. I got mine used for $65.

Russell Optics 9mm
Extremely impressive 2" $85 eyepiece. Now I am glad I went with this vs. the Nagler 9. Best Bang for the Buck in my opinion! Glad to see it is threaded for filters too, nothing I could find stated whether they had them or not. Has a foldable eyecup and one cap. Mine is sharp edge to edge with crisp views. I actually prefer it over his 13mm (which I also have).
