Akane stumbles over her Mother's old notebook which is filled with cooking recipes. Kasumi gets sick and Akane wants to take over! Thankfully, Ranma's mother Nodoka comes to visit and suggests she does the cooking, of course not without the help from Akane and Ranko.

A fun one. Not too much goes on but its fun to watch.

A decent Ranma OAV, the highlights of this Ranma story are not as memorable as other OAVs, but they are nonetheless funny. It's entertaining to see Akane all riled up over finding her mother's recipe book, thus volunteering to cook while Kasumi's sick. Some of the funnier moments, however, include Ranko cooking with his mother and protecting her from the clumsy Akane. It certainly isn't the best Ranma OAV, but it is funny.
