Description: | The Parks Astrolight series telescopes are designed to give the serious beginner as well as the advanced observer a high performing, portable system ideal for photo/visual use. Astrolights are available in 6" f/6 or 6: f/8 optical designs. Each complete system includes optical tube assembly with 1.25" focuser, 6x30 finderscope with quality Parks components throughout. Each optical tube assembly is mounted atop a German equatorial mount which includes, manual slow motion controls and setting circles in both R.A. & Dec axis, height adjustable tripod with center brace accessory tray a finderscope (optional).The m between the f/6 and f/8 design is the focal length of each system. Due to its faster photographic speed and wider field of view, the f/6 design lends itself well to photographic applications. The f/8 design with its longer focal length and smaller secondary mirror will deliver outstanding high power, high contrast visual performance.
