Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
The 32mm and 25mm are the best of the Plossl line. Bright images, decent field of view, and good eye relief. When you drop below 25mm, the eye relief starts to get a little short. Below 10mm the eye relief is negligable - to the point where I won't use them even if I won them.

Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
Even though the Sirius plossls don't get much love from the astronomy user community in general, I find I still use this eyepiece as frequently as I use my Televue glass, especially for viewing the moon. I will admit that the TV eyepieces are sharper in general, but for a sky pilot on a budget this eyepiece does an excellent job. It's bright, clear, and doesn't ghost and I've seen them advertised on the used market for less than $20, which is a real bargain. Highly recommended.

Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
Really a pretty good EP. It came with my scope and got a lot of use. Technically, there is nothing wrong with this EP.

I thought it was a keeper until I picked up an old Japanese Meade 26mm. I could see everything in the Orion that I could
in the Meade, but stars were sharper and the depth of field was much richer in the Meade. The Orion is now my public
star party EP. It's perfect for that!

Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
Decent images, although it gets mushy near the edges. Contrast is decent, and sharpness is a bit more than average. But hey, it only costs $40! It's a good eyepiece for the price, recommended for the observer on a budget. If you don't need the FOV though, you should rather get a 25mm UO Orthoscopic, which is said to deliver 90-95% the performance of the rare (and pricey) Zeiss Abbe Orthoscopics. Still good for the money, though.

Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
A decent but expendable eyepiece. I would recommend it as a low power eyepiece for those wishing to save their money for better quality high power eyepieces.

Orion Sirius Plossl 26mm
This was my main eyepiece for 4 years with my 8 inch Dob. It had pinpoint stars to the edges of the F.O.V. This came with my Dob and Orion may be now outsourcing their optics manufacturing to China?? I know they are with their mirrors, not sure about their eps. In any case, this was a superior Plossl with high contrast, no ghosting and excellent eye relief. Would buy again.

Nice eyepiece for the price. Bright, sharp falls off slightly near the edge.
