Description: | Very good beginner scope. Can push this scope to about 175x. With good seeing, have observed cassini division, 2 moons of saturn. Jupiter has shown transit and maybe 6 bands with moons as disks. Star clusters can resolve sometimes( the big ones ).Have seen M81 82 etc. Even had luck with the mount , being able to find and see Saturn and Jupiter during the middle of the day! Great scope to learn on, and after 2 years probably going to upgrade to one of those ugly russian scopes ( the ones with killer optics).. |
