Orion 9x50 Right-Angle, Correct-Image Finder Scope
I have had this finder about 5 years now and I still like it. I've used it on 2 different telescopes, and overall it is very good. The pros outweigh the cons by a large factor. The optics are pretty good, not great, but plenty for what it's used for. I did have a chance to directly compare the Orion with a Stellarvue F50. Optically, the F50 is better with stars pretty much pinpoints across the whole field, the Orion begins to get a tad soft on the outer third. The Orion and Stellarvue show faint objects equally well. The best thing about the Orion RACI is the 2 screw alignment, just a couple of tweaks, and it is aligned. The worst thing about it is the dovetail base. If the setscrew on the base is not tight enough, the whole finder can drop down and hit the ground, or worse the primary mirror. I've never had this happen, but it is something one should be aware of.
I do recommend this finder be used in conjuction with a Telrad or equivalent unity finder. The unity to get in the ballpark, and the RACI to zero in.

Orion 9x50 RACI Finderscope:
Pros: Decent optics 5 degree field of view
2 screw adjustment
Crosshairs easily visible
lightweight 18.6 oz.

Con: Dovetail design allows possibility of finder falling.
