Description: | Best 7x50s I've been able to find under $500 Cdn. Great for eyeglass wearers, very good eye relief combined with 18mm-wide eyepiece means you can actually see the entire field with specs, as well or better than with my 10x50 Bushnell Glasses-On (which are optical very inferior to these). Glasses-off infinity focus not a problem even with very weak eyes like mine, very much a problem for me with most other 7x50s I've tested at double the price or more. Image sharp almost to the edge of the field, lunar craters don't go fuzzy until just before they disappear from the field of view. Very bright lunar image, a bit of flaring with gibbous moon but that's to be expected, though my less-bright Orion Vista 8x42s don't show flaring and probably have better internal coatings. Nice helf and feel, fairly easy to hold steady, comes with a nice soft case. |
