Meade Super Plossl 32mm
My first telescope was a Meade reflector that came with MA25 and H9 eyepieces. The 25 worked okay but the 9 was a challenge. I replaced these with Meade 4000 Superplossls on the strength of a review and they were a significant improvement. The 32mm was one of my favorites. It is pretty sharp and a fine star party eyepiece. I have always had trouble seeing the entire field of view with it though. It seems you really have to press into the eyecup to see the field stop. After using many other eyepieces I feel there are better ones available for the price.

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
I purchased this eyepiece about 3 weeks ago and I love it. I have and orion xt-10 and it came with a 25mm and a 9mm. Although these are good eypieces the meade just gives a wider and sharper image. I highly recommend this eyepiece.

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
Meade sent me one of these 32 mm Series 4000 "super plossl" eyepieces free of charge. It is an ok eyepiece and the optics are ok, but like all the Meade Series 4000's, it's like looking through a porthole at the ocean.

The Celestron ultima 30mm eyepiece is about the same price and is vastly superior. Rather than put your eye down in it, the image seems to be thrown onto the very surface of the lens like a beautifully clear picture you can look at with your eye - vastly superior to a Meade.

But thanks, meade for sending me a free sample. I let people use it at star parties.

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
These Chinese-made Plossls offers great value and amazing performance even when compared to the older Japanese-made version. I have used the 32mm with a 90mm achromat and the views on M51 and M42 are very crisp and bright. The multi-coating and edge-blackening seem to be very effective. I also have a Japanese version 26mm Meade 4000 Plossl and my 32 mm is very bit as good as the 26mm. Both highly recommended!

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
The favorite EP in my collection providing beautiful views and high fidelity images. I actually find the Meade 32mm perform better than the TV 32mm and Celestron Plossl in my long focal-length refractor - higher contrast and light transmission, lower distortion at the field stop, less false color. All in all, this is an excellent EP for $40 -$50 (mint condition). Highest recommendation!

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
Excellent example of Meade Series-4000 super Plossl and one of the best focal lengths in their line-up. Contrast is higher and image is sharper than the 40mm in the same series. I bought mine used (mint) for $50.00 - a great value and performance is very similar to TV's 32mm Plossl. Definately a keeper!

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
Very comfortable to use for extended time, a bit of edge distortion, but for the money a good eyepiece.

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
This eyepiece performs very well in my long focus scopes
but is not clear tothe edge in my 5"f5 refractor.
Personaly I do not like any eyecups on my eyepieces
(with exception of my Meade Super Plossl 15mm) and
I modified this eyepiece (32mm) by removing rubber
eyecup and machining off considerable part of
top luminum barrel. Now I can see complete FOV
with my glasses on.

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
Excellent eyepiece! Very sharp views and very comparible to the 30 Ultima and the 32 TV. Sharp to the edge of field and on axis. Excellent contrast and quite wide field of view. Widest possible in the 1 1/4" format. Eye relief is long and it can cause one to lose the field of view if the eye isn't in proper position, but no worse than other brands. It is a best buy, especially if bought used. Run about $65-70 or so (Used).

Meade Super Plossl 32mm
Good eye relief and FOV. It works very well with my 8" f/6 newtonian scope under polluted sky.
