Meade 4501
Excellent starter scope. If you're seeking a first scope and is interested in astrophotography, I don't know of a better scope. The mount is not as cheap as it looks, and the motor drive/corrctor works well. I have taken exposures up to TEN minutes with very little RA drift. However there isn't a dec corrector available so all of my photos suffer from dec drift. The optics are quite good for the price. When in collimation, the only notable defect is coma.

Dislike? The finder and the two smaller eyepieces(h12.5 and sr4) needs to be replaced. To allow primefocus photography, the bolts holding the mirror needs to be lengthened. The counterweight is inadaquate for a guidescope. However, I made all of those upgrades and got a 60mm guidescope for less than $130
