Great anime. Had tons of action. If you like action or blood this will be your favorite. If you don't like a guy going around killing people then forget about this one.

MD Geist 2:Death Force
I really liked the original MD Geist OAV, even though a lot of my friends did not. (I love the Fightech Power Armor designs) When I heard a sequel was being made, I was quite ecstatic!
Unfortunately, this sequel does NOT do the original justice. Its fairly well animated, and the design work is some of Koichi Ohata's BEST, but great designs do not a great anime make. This was very evident in its shoddy direction and lackluster storytelling. There was no Protaganist, just two Antagonists. Its hard to get into a show with no good guy! Even our "hero" Geist, who during the first OAV is seen as a mystery..(he seems good, but...) but in Death Force, he is shown as a merciless killer (which he truly is) and his nemesis is worse, because he puts his depredations under the guise of "wise protector", but he is as bad (if not worse) than Geist.
If the storytelling were better, or the video sequences were put together a little better (or perhapse it was just the fact that only the Dub was released Stateside and the dub was PATHETIC in the extreme) is would've lived up to the original. As it is, Death Force is better left unwatched, unless you want really cool PA designs to add to a RPG session.
