Description:

For years the kingdoms of Dusis and Anatore have been at war, following traditions of chivalry while being overseen by a mysterious force called the Guild.

It is in this time of strife that we find two orphans, Claus Valca and Lavie Head. Having inherited their fathers' vanship, they make a living taking low-level courier jobs for a vanship corporation. But after watching a fellow pilot killed mercilessly while on a mission, they find themselves entrusted with the life of a little girl and thrust headlong into the war. What hidden secret does this girl hold, that people are willing to die to protect her? Is the Guild more than just a benevolent force dictating the war? Does it have more to do with Claus and Lavie's past than they realize?

Last Exile

Last Exile was created by the GONZO studios, known for their visually "eye candy" when it comes to anime. Well, in order to celebrate its 10th anniversary, it came up with Last Exile.

Animation - 10 - This anime is visually stunning. There is a big HOWEVER though, as people who do not like heavy CG in this animation will probably not care for the animation itself as much. I was personally pleased with how well both came together. There are incredible air fights in this anime that rival NGE.

Plot - 8 - It takes a little while for the plot to get going here. If you are plot oriented, it will take about 12 episodes for things to unravel and really get going. It could have been better though and with out giving anything away, some things could have been explained better.

Humor - 7 - I give it a 7 not because it was not funny. It had many funny parts in this anime, but it was not meant to be a comedic anime. There are some scenes though that will make you chucke.

Sound Track - 10 - WOW!!! This is probably the best part of the anime. The opening and closing songs were immediatly burned onto my computer. I did buy the soundtrack though and found the rest of the music to be nothing like the opening or closing songs. However, the quality is still incredible and its a great listen.

Overall: 10, gotta give it this, you won't be disapointed.
