Kimagure Movie 2: Shin Kimagure Orange Road
Great movie. Even though I don't even know what the series is all about until I decided to pick up this movie. This covered all the basis of what goes on with the series (Kimagure Orange Road) and its love triangle characters (Hikaru, Kyosuke, and Madoka). This movie impressed me so much that I also rented out whatever series is left on the video store. Only found OAV #2 (AnimeEigo), and found it really good product.

I'm not very familiar with the series, but from the movie I could teel its probably VERY good. That thing with the caterpillar was very funny. Also this is one of the few love triangles where the woman actually went to man instead of attacking the woman first. Very good.

An example of everything an anime movie should be. The film's subtle, understated mood is similar to the work of Miyazaki ... but that's where the similarity stops. The New KOR is a masterpiece in its own right; an animated work of poetry that does justice to the original series and then some. And of course, "Kyosuke #1" is an unforgettable BGM that really doesn't deserve to be called a BGM in the first place because it's so central to the plot...
