Intes Bertele 18mm
This design uses 7-8 elements, all of which have a spherical curve. Semi wide-field (56ï ° AFOV) ocular. In my 900mm f.l., f/8 telescope sharpness to the edge is quite good, but...

The example I had was very badly haunted with ghost images, a huge distraction for brighter objects like the planets or the Moon. Another pitfall is that the eyepiece imparts a green tinge to any object that you're viewing, which rules out multiple star observations. It will work fine for Messier or NGC objects, which are dim and don't require great color resolution, but that's about it.

This eyepiece provides a clear and reasonably bright view to the edges of its 54 degree apparent field. It would probably be a decent eyepiece for deep-sky surfing. However, it's got two serious problems for planetary and double star viewers. While obviously multi-coated, its elements produce some very conspicously annoying ghost images when aimed at bright objects. In addition, they also have the effect of imparting a greenish hue to everything in their grasp. This is not an ocular for appreciating the delicate colors found with planets and stars. I had wanted to like this eyepiece but ended up giving it away.
