This if a great collimator at any price. The holographic image makes it a snap. Construction is of machined aluminium and fits very nicely with no slop. On top of this all Tim offers a lifetime realignment if it is ever needed!!! Dealing with Tim a couple of times was great. Helix is a great store. Sorry to sound gushing but it is so rare to find this level of customer service and value.

High quality unit. blows the orion off the map.Also i received mind with my new discovery scope.It had the hologram in it.which i do not like 'some do like it'I prefer the single dot.So they said ship it back and we will make it single dot.Great service/ also they are coming out with a slide on hologram so you can have your laser singel dot then make it a hologram when you want. Sounds cool.My unit had no slop in the focuser,THANKS BOB HART

Helix Laser Collimator
The Helix has slashed the collimation time for my truss scope. I insert the collimator, adjust the secondary then the primary, and the scope is then ready for fine-tuning with my auto-collimator.

Helix Laser Collimator
Superb quality and performance.
I have the “4 X 4 Scope Hologram” version. I’ve used it with an f5 TAL Newtonian and an f6 Intes Mak-Newt.
Highly recommended.

Helix is without a doubt a great colimator for the money. The holographic patern is fantastic. I got the new bull's eye pattern and love it.

Helix Laser Collimator
Very useful tool for collimation. With the concentric ring pattern I was able to identify and correct a problem I had with my focuser. Without the holographic pattern, I don't think it would have been possible.
