Harry Siebert Optics UltraPlus 17.5mm, 2 inch
Used in an F/10 8" SCT, 10" Dob. Also binoviewing. I spent an evening swap comparing this in the SCT with a Pentax 14XL and a Nagler 17 on the Ring and a globular cluster. The Siebert UltraPlus had dark, flat, crisp views. Fainter stars were visible on a darker background than the Pentax, and the eyepiece was only slightly edged out by the Nagler's bigger FOV and a slightly smoother, velvety image. Quite credible views with good color/contrast... given the small size/weight and price of the Siebert.

These are 1.25" eyepieces in a 2" housing for ease of use. Fit and finish might be a 7 or 8.

In the bino the light weight is a boon... and the images were even MORE velvety and black, black, black!... with crisp, stark images of very faint objects. Great contrast!

A very good value in my opinion.
