Finally a night with great seeing and time to test my 5.4mm Siebert. I worked thru my EP's until I got to my TV 10mm which only really works on the good nights. Jupiter was spectacular, so I went to the 5.4mm and really was taken back when I could make out festoons in the cloud bands of jupiter. I am pleased with my eyepiece, truly a good value and a nice addition to my EP kit. Thank you Harry!! Scope used was a classic C8 at 9900' on Mt.Haleakala,Maui

Harry Siebert Optics Standard 5.4mm

I just tried this eyepiece for lthe first time and , Oh My!!!! it is wonderful to view high magnification with a wide FOV. Harry Siebert's eyepiece was sharp,clear, bright. I must also mention that the entire field was accurate even to the edge!
Very Impressive!! This eyepiece(5.4mm)is perfect for high magnification that is slightly below my telescopes max magnification limit.I also compared this to my celestron plossl set ,and other plossls (meade )that I own. I really like my plossls and I think the image quality of the Seibert is as good as my beloved(and still much used)plossls.
Harry is great to deal with, I will do it again Ron.
