Have been using this eyepiece in the observatorys 6" f/8 APO Refractor and
also in the 9" Refractor. The view is clear to the edge with no coma at all.
This eyepiece is mainly used for globular cluster observing using a Barlow
with a power of 240 on the 9" refractor with M13 resolved to the core with
dark lines running through the cluster. The view is sharp with much contrast
and back ground sky nice and dark black. It totaly out dose any other
eyepieces when used in both scopes. Will buy from Harry any time.

In my homemade 4" f/4 Newtonian, this eyepiece is the best I've tried. At only 29X, it distinctly resolves 4 stars in the Trapezium and some cloud bands on Jupiter, as well as Saturn's shadow on its rings. Even with the limb of the Moon right at the edge of the field, it shows no color whatever. The Orion Nebula is brighter than I'd ever seen it, and I'm finding galaxies now that I never saw before. The field is wide and the stop is sharp. I still see a trace of coma, but this could originate with my fast, inexpensive mirror. The eyepiece is substantially built and the clever provision for filters prevents cross-threading in the dark. In short, the Siebert is so much better than anything less costly that it's the real bargain, and nothing at any price seems to work a lot better. For quality 9.5, for value 10.

A nice sharp EP. I am impressed by the color shown in Jupiters cloud bands. Good contrast and decent eye relief. I won't get into the low price, I don't know how Harry does it.

Very nice 15mm eyepiece, er is good enough and it's sharp across the field. seems every bit the equal if not better than the Meade 4000 plossol I was using before at a fraction of the price.
As a bonus Harry Siebert is a pleasure to do business with.

I like this one better than the 10mm Siebert. I think it's a bit sharper at the edge in an f5.4 dob (but not perfect), and definitely has more comfortable eye relief although Harry reports the two having the same ER. An excellent performer at any price, and certainly the best value for a midrange WA.
