Not the best eyepiece Harry has made. This is my third Siebert eyepiece, but it is not on par with the others. It had bubbles in the optical elements, and did not come to sharp focus.

I sincerely hope you called Siebert Optics about it and returned it for either a replacement or your money back. Did you?

One of the best EPs I own, not a Siebert, arrived with an element flopping around inside. Imperfections, even in telescope optics (!), do occur from time to time. What did I do with that EP? I called the manufacturer and sent it back, just as I would any Siebert EP or other product, or for that matter my foot-bath, toaster or my patented Swedish Massage Balls.

"Premium Junk" is more like it. I don't know how anything made with surplus optics can be called "premium".

beware buying from harry, as if you are unhappy, he will NOT refund your money.

It's strange coming into this review forum and seeing the blatant attempts at "assassination." Once again, all one can do is this: The EPs I have from Siebert are the best EPs I own (out of 15 singles and doubles for binos), except for the Naglers, and these are all medium-quality or better EPs in my kit - no junk. And it's just plain not true that Siebert wouldn't honor the money-back guarantee unless the buyer were past the guarantee period, which I believe is pretty much 60 days on all products.

I think this might be either a case of a guy making a liar of himself by dropping and breaking the eyepiece at least 60 days after buying it or he's simply a hired basher, which by default makes him a liar.

You coward, Why not put your name on this.

Everyone knows that Siebert has the best money back guaranty around. That is why you cannot sign your review.
