After reading the spectacular description on the Siebert website, I decided to order this eyepiece. After actually using it, I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed with it. My cheap Chinese eyepieces from Owl Services all work much better in terms of sharpness, contrast, and transmission. This eyepiece also gives seagulls in my f/8 refractor- forget about using it in a fast dob. I don't think it is nearly worth the money charged for it, although it might make an ok star party eyepiece. I will be continuing my search for a good 13mm wide angle - the Siebert is not it.
