I love how the animation makes every character look different (even though they may look a little strange) and how Ive never seen characters portrayed in such a way. The art is different, and thats how I like it. I love how they make each character relatable in some way, and the different personalities of each of them.

I was actually kind of surprised with this one. If you like sprawling space sagas like Space Battleship Yamato or Captain Harlock, you might like this one.
I like the characters and the way they interacted as a team and the story wasn't too bad. However, the film was made over twenty years ago and the art and animation looks rather dated. The film resembles Osamu Tezuka's work as far as art goes but doesn't have the maturity of Tezuka's work.
