This scope affords the finest views I have ever seen. How it seemed to "beat the seeing" when a 5" Tak was right beside it, is beyond me. Incredible and simple helical focuser. Saturn filled 1/3 of the field and looked like a top notch CCD image and just stayed that way. For a split second I considered a joke was being played on me. Without thinking(obviously)I looked at the meniscus to see if an image of Saturn was painted on it. I then looked around to see if anyone saw me pull this stunt. It's that good!

Great optics comparable to 8.5" APO refractor. I have used 800x with no image breakdown on close double stars. Planetary views are outstanding. This scope is also capable of edge to edge wide field views with a 22 mm Panoptic at 59x. So far it is the best visual scope I have looked through comparing favorably to an excellent 9" refractor.

Cool down time is not a problem if you run the fan while observing. Without the fan going and dropping temperatures you don't get as good of images. If you continuously run the fan I find cool down time around 45 minutes.
