Description: | This is a good quality fully-multicoated medium power eyepiece for lunar observing, resolving globular clusters, picking up detail in emission and reflection nebulas, etc. It provides an almost 4.5mm exit pupil with an f/4.5 Dobsonian reflector for rich field scanning of the Milky Way star clouds in Sagittarius and the larger nebulas. It's an excellent choice to complement the 40mm eyepiece provided with some go-to Schmidt-Cassegrains. It will work well with any telescope type, at any focal ratio, under any seeing conditions. A soft rubber eyecup shields the eye from ambient light and folds down for more comfortable eyeglass use. A knurled rubber ring on the titanium-colored barrel provides a secure grip when changing eyepieces in cold weather. |
