It is a great size, with great optics, but I've done so much better with it on a GP/DX mount.

Celestron Fastar 8
A telescope of such aperture ratio is very valuable for it can reach areas that other lenses can not. Basically it is a "400 mm F2" aprox. The next in line is Nikon's 400 F 2.8. Is not that unique enough? In the bargain is a guided astrophoto mount, F6.3, F10, F20 and up to F50 with the right extenders. Celestron needs only to maintain it's highest optical level and think different in marketing. BTW how about the C14 F 1.4 something for the year 2000 maybe?
