What a disappointment!
This eyepiece is nothing but an oversized piece of glass. It can only focus over no more than 60% of the filed of view; and even then some stars are difficult to get sharp enough. On the edges (outside the 60% from center), stars were getting “elongated” and spiky beyond my tolerance. Trying to look through it is an exercise in patience: it blacks out at the lightest eye movement unless it is viewed dead center. I could not find the magic eye-relief for this eye piece, no matter how much I tried. To be fair to it, I tested it over many evenings, and in three types of telescopes one of which is an APO, but the results were the same: Frustrating and useless!
The only time this EP performed “semi-acceptably” is during the day, but I hardly ever go terrestrial with my telescopes. After I bought, with great disappointement, I returned it to the dealer who gladly swapped it for another which in turn performed just as poorly! So unless it was my luck getting the only two lemon oculars out of China, I would assume the E-Lux 32 to be not worth the money.

I disagree with the previous review. The 2" E-lux EP's are a good buy if you have an f/10 or longer focal ratio scope. They work especially well on deep sky where the superior contrast of the 3-element Kellner design and fairly wide AFOV work to its advantage. This is NOT an EP for fast scopes. It gives a terrible performance on an f/6 refractor or a fast dob. Use one in an f/15 Mak or f/16 achromat, then decide. You will probably consider it a great bargain when used in long focal ratio scopes. I had some of my best deep sky views with an E-lux at a dark sky site where the high contrast of the 3-element design worked very well.

This is a great value eyepiece!! I use it as a finder in my AT1010. It does a great job. The stars is getting a little soft near the edge, but it only very little. If your not a super widefield fan, this is it! It´ll give me a 3,7 degrees of FOV. It´s a keeper!
