One of the best anime movies I have ever seen(yes, I have seen plenty of'em). What I liked about this movie was that it felt like a "movie" in the traditional sense. Most anime are just 30-50 minutes long with little or no plot and thin characterization and dialogue. Cashaan gave you interesting characters, cool action sequences, an unoriginal but engaging plot and nice animation for a full 90 minutes. In my book, it's a classic.

The Casshan movie is perfect! It is like a modern high-tech fairy tale (especially with the "enchanted" swan.)

Those who gave this one a low rating obviously lack appreciation for a good story line. if you're into robots or computers you'll love this title. if you're one of those brainless types who only appreciates action-oriented anime, then you'll probably hate this. this is my favorite anime of all time. it has become a major influence in my life. great drama, great concepts, the coolest lines ever, brilliant. good action too. AI.

The designs of the robots and the emotions of Casshan himself made this fun to watch. I also liked the Black King. Reminds me of the Mega Man X series of video games.

Great story line, with realistic drama. Animations were cool, especially his dog. Together they could wipe out entire forces of bots. cashan was not cold and heartless. He was a good person (I guessing I can call him a person) with a lot of human qualities like he can make mistakes. It was great!
