Service was great and shipping was free. Took only 3 days to get my order via UPS ground (live in So. California, company is in Oregon). Lately have had very good weekend only specials (i.e. $50 off orders of $250 or more) and prices are very fair compared to retail and Costco/Sam's Club, no shipping or sales tax costs to pay. Email support for existing orders was good, but you will find product inquiries via email to be lacking. This hurt them more than it hurt me, however (I would have spent more there if I got answers to the simple product questions I had!). While not the cheapest player in the game, their prices are certainly very low compared to many, and it's worth it to not have to go through the hassles a lot of mail order/internet sites put you through.

CANADIANS BEWARE!!!

I recently placed an on-line purchase only to find out that it was shipped to a US postal code. Futhermore I was also scolded by customer service for having placed an on-line order instead of phoning it in, all of this when their site explicitly says that US and CANADIAN postal codes are accepted. And to Boot!, I had to speak to 4 different reps just to be told that there was really
nothing they could to do help me get my package before Xmas even though they screwed-up and had previously confirmed delivery for december 21st. Talk about Customer Service!!!!!
I am furious and rate this Company a BIG FAILURE!

Buying from these guys is like buying milk at the grocery - you know you can save a little money from super-shady-discounters, but Cameraworld is convenient, automatic and highly reliable. A couple years ago they sent me an interim remote control because I wanted to send the OEM multibrand remote to the manufacturer - now that's service.

Ordered the Sony DVPS7000 for xmas. Pricing is a bit
confused. The website said $599, a friend of mine called
and got a quote of $525 but when I called it was $540.
They cut the shipping cost by $15 when I complained.

Unit was delivered on-time and in good shape. Came in
a outer box around original Sony box which I appreciated.

Good return policy; 14 days to return after receipt and
only pay shipping cost (no restocking fee).

I'd buy from them again. Gave 'em a 9 only for pricing confusion.

Received good price and was told my Sony Str-De825 was in stock, 2 weeks later
I had no receiver and called and was told they did not have them, maybe the
first of January. I canceled my order and wasted 2 weeks.
