I bought a pair several years ago on a trip to the Grand Canyon. Paid around $50 for them. The case is kind of poor and the lense caps will not stay on but I found the optics at night to be quite good. I notice no problem and stars a sharp points of light. Pack them up in the mountains when I go prospecting or what ever and use them laying on my back to relax. For an inexpensive pair of glasses they are worth the money. If I should ever drop them well so be it. Im not out a lot of cash. I would rate them a 10 for what I use them for.

My pair was on sale for $68 ($100 off). It's great for medium-power Milky Way star cluster observing and Jovian moon tracking with its 8 degree field, but stars around the edge have some coma. A small amount of chromatic abberation disturbs observing parts of the limb of the moon. The moon isn't very sharp through this pair of binocs due to its lower quality BAK-7 prisms (you can tell this by looking through the objective lens and seeing if the edges of the eyepiece are squared off. I'd reccomend a pair with BAK-4 prisms such as the Meades, Celestrons, or Orions.

My first set of binoculars -- I like it! Only paid 30 bucks so I think it was a good deal too!

Great for terrestrial viewing in the daylight. Not so good at night when viewing start due to halo and distortion on star points.
