Description: | The SWII package includes quite a bit! OTA, Tripod, Turret Eyepiece Holder, Helical Focuser, 3 eyepieces (13.5, 22, & 50), several adapters and extenders. The 7X50 finder is recommended, but a 6X30 can be purchased also. Borg scopes are just now being marketed in America (Aug 2000). They are easily upgradable and can be purchased in several configurations. I understand these were orignially desgined for the Astro-Photographer, but now this package is for the beginner and experienced alike. It was recommend to purchase a 57mm and 52mm baffle for visual use ($12 ea.) Nice thing about these are that most all pieces can be upgraded later, such as buying a 100mm achro objective now and upgrade to a 100mm APO later. Although the Achromat is quite nice with 1/8 P.T.V., 95% Strehl ratio, 9.4 micron spot, and 1.2 arc sec resolution over a 1 deg. field.
