First off, this anime is NOT for someone who wants to kick back and zone out. Get a pad and pencil and get ready to pay attention.

Animation - 9 - Very well animated. Had a Serial Experiments Lain feel to it with everything being really dark and hazy. I found everything from the fighting, to the monsters graphically eating people to be well done animation wise.

Plot - 6- This is the rating that counts the most on this anime. I truly think you have to have a deep understanding of Japanese Culture and Religion. You have to really pay attention to EVERYTHING!!! The plot and story is there, having what should be 26 episodes crammed into 13. It jumps around and expects you to know what is going on, it became frustrating and I even watched it all again to make sure I knew what was going on.

Humor - No Vote - There is no intended humor of anykind in this anime. Those who like comedy, stay away!!

Sound Track - 7 - The opening and closing songs are OK. I like some of the techo beats in the anime, but its nothing really special.

Overall - 6 - This anime had so much potential...it is good, but very frustrating to watch. Only recomended if you like really thick and deep plots, otherwise, you will be disapointed and confused.
