These are the same binos marketed under the name Barska. They are lightweight, and provide crisp, clean images to the edge of the field.

The only two drawbacks I saw are that the optics are only partially coated, so there are noticeable secondary reflections from very bright objects. (Not really objectionable, but there.)

And they are center focus so they have a habit of drifting out of focus when you are leaning up against them.

Good points are impressive eye relief, nice 4degree FOV, and their price.

I've had the opportunity to look through pairs of these with BK-7 and BAK-4 prisms, and there was no noticeable difference. (except the $90 difference in price.)

I wouldn't trade in a $700-$1000 pair of binos for these, but they are an incredible find for someone on a budget, and compare as well as any of the $200-$300 pairs I have seen recently.

(Incidentally, the body is identical to the orion giants. Coincidence? I doubt it.)

I keep these in the trunk of the car wrapped in an old sleeping bag and the collimation has gone out 2-3 times, for the money(59.00) well worth it.

Amazing binoculars for the price. They completely beat my Meade ETX 70 in deep sky objects. I am very happy with them.

Complete and utter nonsense and rubbish from reviews that I have read. This bino uses BAK 7 glass which is so inferior for astronomy that even coke bottles would be superior. Someone obviously is trying to hype an inferior product here. Probably the manufacturer of this crap!
For anyone to claim to be able to see 4 to 6 bands on Jupiter's surface using 15 power and BAK 7 glass, or see Saturn's rings and 2 moons, you must have a field of bovine manure that you shovel daily. Then why pay 700 bucks for a pair of Fujinons, 500 for Adlerblicks, or Orion BAK 4 glass if these 80 buck binos smoke with BAK 7 glass?

They don't make them with BAK7, they use BAK4. I have seen good reviews of this bino at non-commercial sites (cloudy nights) by people who have no vested interest in the product. I believe these are also the same as the Oberwerks 15x70 which Todd Gross gave a good review.

If you are going to post an opinion, it would help if you actually used these binos, which clearly you have not.

My only comment would be this....have you even used these? Your review ( if you want to call it that ) sounds like someone trying to justify having spent a lot more money for perhaps not an appreciable improvement in performance.

These binoculars offer suprising performance for the price. Optics are sharp. View of the quarter mood is stunning, magnificent, bright view of M42. sharp almost to the edge. Stars are pinpoint. Fully coated optics, BAK-7 glass. Come with car window mount, L-bracket, case, lens caps, strap. It may be necessary to collimate these (easy to do). The image is brighter than in Pro-Optic 11 x 70s. Can be successfully hand-held for some.

I bought these when they first made the SAA newsgroup. Outstanding value for the price. Tack sharp stars and wonderful views of clusters and nebula. M42 took on a 3D effect with 3-4 of the triangulum visible. Andromeda changed from a fuzzy ball to an elongated shape with hints of spiral. Color is excellent. Albireo is vivid blue and gold. Minimal coloration on luna (a slight yellow edge - hardly noticeable) and Jupiter. Separates Saturn's globe from the rings with one or two moons, and shows four to six bands on Jupiter with all Gallilean satellites. Relief is around 18mm and accomodates my glasses. Binocs are light enough to hand hold for a while but give best views on a mount.

Chinese are experts in producing high-quality optics at rock-bottom costs. These binoculars are fine examples of this expertise. Views are bright, sharp and contrasty. Construction is rugged and functional. I got mine in a local departure store in Shanghai, China for USD$20! Amazing tool for browsing the summer milky way! Highly recommended.

A great value for the money. Images are sharp across the f.o.v. I would compare these favorably with the Orion 10 x 50 Ultraviews I also own.

Just got them. I have compared them with my Orion 11x70 and I can not see much difference. Yes both show some flaring on the planets but the views to the edges are pretty much the same and the same dim stars are visible. The workmanship is very very good with excellent machining and an attractive body with a tripod adapter. I got it at the Sportsmens Guide for $100.At this price I give it a 10..
