Apogee Plossl 32mm
For the money, this a nice buy. F.O.V. isn't wide-screen but images are pretty sharp and fairly bright in my 10" f/4.5 Dob. Also bought their 2X Barlow and they make a nice pair together. Good e.p. for those on a budget. Comes with quality bolt/screw-on type container bottle.

Regarding my last post, i'm now ready to rate this EP. I think in absolute terms i'd rate it as an 8, in terms of relative value its closer to a 9-10. I guess that means i'll give it a 9 overall.

I bought this eyepiece as a long-focus ocular for my XT10 scope. It was shipped in a nice, boxed, plastic "bolt" container. Under the sky, the results with my f/5 10" Dob were great! It does have just a bit less FOV angle than my Orion Sirius Plossls which came with the scope, but is superior in resolution and contrast to either of the Sirius Plossls which came with the scope. Results on M42, Jupiter, Saturn, and especially chi-h in Perseus, were great! It also worked very well with the Apogee "Shorty" Barlow. I consider this a very good bargain, low price and excellent performance.

So far I haven't had much time with it, but my early impressions are that this EP has excellent light throughput, yet shows some minor ghosting on exremely bright objects. Sharp to the edge and is sharp overall. The build quality is excellent and reminds me of the workmanship of my Meade Series 4000 26mm Plossl. Very good value. I'll rate it when I've used it more. So far i'm very happy with it.
