Very dishonest people. Price quoted on the phone and the bill that came was totally different. When call back they would not even try to listen and gave me the feeling that I'm lying to them. When ask for manager..I guess that would be this guy Steve...he did not want to listen of what happen and just said I'm lucky to get the price that they are charging me???

I try to be very careful but learn that until you have everything in written form you CAN NOT TRUST them NEVER give them your card until receive things in paper. They simply deny what they agree with you on the phone..what can you do? If I do the credit dispute that will take 30days at least and I'll end up paying for the delivery charge which they can come up with any figure the way they operate.

Hope somebody can do something about this.

Bunch of liars, charged CC, never shipped product. Now the BBB, Internet Fraud COntrol Center, my CC company everybody is dealing with them. Wonder why there are no state laws that can put the people running these companies into jail.

NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, also goes under other names
alphasound, warfdale etc, I would suggest never even go anywhere near Englishtown, Manalapan NJ to buy any AV stuff. There are other nicer places.

Not very honest to customer.

They will charge your credit card without shipping anything to you.
Later after you found out, you can spend time to deal with credit card company.

It is also called ABC stereo... (got lots of names)

BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE POSTS YOU READ HERE. These people are lowest form of scum on the face of the earth. I ordered six quantities of the Panasonic TU-HDS20 HDTV decoder on June 6th and was told they would arrive in a week. My card was charged that day. Items never showed up. Called numerous times and was strung along every time--"we shipped it today...oh, you'll get them in a few days, etc, etc." Finally after about a month I discovered through various other contacts that that particular model has not even been released by Panasonic to dealers (and will not be until late September). I was irritated at not being informed of this and then being given the run-around, but figured oh well, at least I'll get them as soon as they are available. In the meantime, I saw another internet mailorder company (audioexcellence.com) that was taking preorders for the same item for $75 less than Stereo ABC. I called and spoke with Joey to ask for a possible price match and she said yes. I called her a second time to verify that she had credited my card for the difference and she confirmed this. But my card was never credited. At this point I just decided to cancel the order and take my business someplace else. They said they would immediately cancel the order. But surprise, surprise, my card was never credited. They keep saying I need to speak to Donna in the credit department. But of course Donna is never around--"oh she's on a cigarette break right now, call back in 15 minutes...she's out sick today and won't be back till next week, etc." Finally by some miracle I was able to get a hold of her. I asked why my card had not been credited even though the order had been cancelled two weeks ago, and she conveniently replied "I wasn't here two weeks ago." She said she would have "look into the situation and get back to me." But of course she never did. To this day there has been no credit to my card. Then tonight I stumbled upon this site and needless to say was floored at the similar experiences of many others. I just called my card company and will be fling a formal dispute through them. BOTTOM LINE, IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SLEAZEBALLS AFTER READING ALL THESE POSTS, DON'T BLAME ANYONE BUT YOURSELF WHEN YOU GET SCREWED.

I ordered a Klipsch 10" Powered Subwoofer from AlphaSound. It arrived in the allotted time and the price was great. I have had nothing less than EXCELLENT service from them! This was my first experience and I would definitely order from them again.

Quoted me a low price gave me the run-around for a solid month. Never shipped the product. Was hung up on repeatedly. Had to reverse charges AND THEY CONTESTED. A NIGHTMARE. Do not give these people your credit card number! I only recently thought of buying mail order again. Stay away from these people.

This has been my worst on-line shopping experience. It took me 9 months to get my gear, had to go to Visa to reverse charges, etc. Avoid this one.

My terrible experience echos others who has suffered dealing with Alpha Sound. Definitely a Scam operation. I ordered an amplifier that they priced at about $100 below nearest competition and they never deliver the amp despite repeated promises. Everytime I call them they put me on hold for a long long time so I either have to hangup and call again or just give up. They charge me for the price of the amp and I am now working with credit card company to get dispute resolved. Never, never deal with this outfit!!!

This is a scam operation. See site described by prior post for details. My personal experience was similar to those posts. Ordered unit for what appeared to be low price -- after one month of many calls and e-mail finally got unit -- except it was obviously used and had all serial numbers removed!!!

If you buy from them you do so at your own risk. Good luck.
