Coyote Creek
I've only done this trail once for about 4-5 miles down from the park and mostly all I can remember is that it gets really HOT and exhausting! Thus not really recommended for a long outing for the family, though it probably wouldn't be too bad for a short stroll.

When I went (midday during the weekday..probably why it was so hot) the trail was practically deserted making it really nice for continuous skatings. There are no crossings or other points during which you need to abruptly stop making this a pretty nice trail to workout on.

Running by the Coyote Creek, the trail is fairly pleasant. There's even a couple of picnic tables if you wanna stop for a snack. The trail itself is mostly flat, but does have a tiny hill in a few places.

Overall a nice trail once you get used to the heat.

Coyote Creek
Between Metcalf Road and Morgan Hill there are three decent
hills on this track and one awesome corkscrew. The best
reason to take this course is the amount of wildlife you see
while skating. I have seen coyotes, deer, snakes and even a
small bobcat. There is some decent fishing too if you are
into it. If you avoid skating in the middle of the day the
heat is nothing. However, the wind blows south most of the
time and can be a factor in the evening hours.
