Description:First rate and very knowledgeable, Abe really knows his stuff. His history with Meade puts him head and shoulders above anyone else I've spoken to, in the industry. Very honest and straight-forward to deal with. Busy little store, and one has to be patient sometimes to benefit from his wisdom. I just hope when he begins to hire staff, they are as knowledgeable and courteous as he is.

What Abe does not offer in the way of discounts, he MORE than makes up for in his enthusiastic personality, GREAT customer service and accessible parking. Not far off the 401 Hwy, in Ajax, he's also central to the Durham Region and our growing community of Amateur Astronomers (80+). Price is NOT everything. I'd gladly pay 10-15% more for an item, just to spend valuable time in Abe's store learning a portion of what he knows about telescopes and astronomy. I consider Abe a good friend now, and meeting him back in December 2001, and buying my first serious telescope - an 8" Skywatcher - was a highlight point in my life. Glad to know you Abe! Now let's get those customers out there under the stars!

If I could give Abe an "11" for an overall rating, I would.

Integrity and honesty are two things Abe has in abundance.

He'll attempt to solve problems that you have even if you didn't purchase the item from him.

I have no qualms at all in recommending customers purchase from him.

Earth and Sky Adventure Shop LTD.
I have been dealing with Earth and Sky Adventure Shop for a while now.
In EVERY transaction, what I have experienced is:
(1) Courtesy and Integrity
(2) Fairness and Honesty
(2) Professionalism
(3) Knowledgeable staff
(4) Great selection of goods

I have had various dealings with other Astronomy retailers, and they never have come remotely close to the level of customer care that I have experienced at Earth and Sky Adventure Shop. (EASA)

I look forward to continuing to deal with EASA for many more years, and I wish EASA continued success.

(The only thing that Abe hasn't done for his customers is make clouds disappear. But if he could, I know he would.)

When you are ready to spend, this is the place to put your money. I needed two reticle eyepieces in a hurry for a schoolgroup visiting Haliburton Forest observatory and Abe, the owner, personally drove them to my home after his workday -- that's a 2.5 hour trip one way. So from now on when I need equipment, EASA is where I'll go. I do not hesitate in recommending him 100%. I have not yet had need for equipment service, but when I do (and believe me, I will -- we ALL will!) I have no doubt he will come through again with no problems. This is a known good spot. Shop elseware and your taking a chance.

Prices are comparable to others in the Greater Toronto Area, so I didn't rate on price. Service and excellent attention to details as well as his willingness to build goodwill relationships with his customers makes Abe TOPS in my books! Great selection, and superb advice. Can't wait until our first stargazing outing Abe...
