Joe is a fantastic guy to deal with - honest to the end!!! Great prices and fantastic service. The only way he could make this better is if he dedicated himself to the astro biz 100% of the time and opened an actual store. I've bought a scope and accessories from him, and he's 100% on the mark. I would highly recommend him.

What a pleasant change from other places I've dealt with,very good experience.Got my eyepieces in a week and at the best price anywhere.This fellow works from his home but can get a lot of things if you ask.Knows a lot about his equipment and is really a nice fellow..should also mention his nice wife Suzanne who answers the phone and is obviously into the hobby as well.I will deal with these folks every time if they have what I need.Nice website check it out if you can.

Put simply Joe O'neil is the best!! I am new to astronomy at age 40 and He answered about a month's worth of e-mails ( actually much longer ) before I finally decided on an 8" Skywatcher Dob. He had the best price around, was the easiest to deal with, and answered all e-mail within a day. He was honest with his opinions and wasn't out to just sell me a scope like other vendors. He truly had my best interest in mind when giving advice. What more could you possibly ask?? When I think of Joe I think Quality and Service ! I would buy from him again without hesitation. Actually I think it will be sooner than later...this astronomy stuff is addicting !! Clear Skies !!

What a pleasant experience. O'Neil is great. Called him and he had everything I was looking for at prices generally lower than most. He shipped from Canada to New Mexico at very reasonable cost and did it quickly. Will definitely do business with him again.

Joe is an extremely helpful guy who promptly returned all my emails. I kept firing him questions about mounting a small refractor to my SCT, and he was extremely helpful in trying to help me solve my dilemma. I sent him about ten emails in a fwe days and he replied to them all. Great service!

I just recently purchased a 6 inch Skywatcher Dob from Joe. Joe was great to work with, he answered all my E-mails promptly and worked with me on a finder scope upgrade. When I was assembling the scope, I damaged the focuser. I E-mailed Joe and told him what I had done and that I needed to purchase a replacement. Within a week I received a replacement focuser direct from Skywatcher courtesy of Joe, no charge, that was superior to the original I had broke. The Skywatcher telescope is great, less money than an equivalent Orion or Discovery. I highly recomend O'Neil Optical, Joe really goes the extra mile.
