Description:Comments: I have dealt with Perceptor 5 times, on orders ranging from a single eyepiece up to a large telescope and mount. They were always extremely helpful, willing to discuss options at length, etc. All goods received in good order, when promised. I always found their prices to be fair.

The Kidner's are fantastic people to deal with - super friendly and knowledgable. I have purchased there before and will again. I just wish their "store" was a little less like my closet at home! Lots of stock - but it's all over the place. Perhaps that's changed? Haven't visited them in a while. Still, highly recommended!

The store itself has changed a lot since the new owner took over, but the same great service is still there. They have the lowest prices out of all the Toronto area dealers, and the owner has gone out of his way to ensure I have been totally satisfied numerous times.

John & Susan are great to deal with. They know what they are talking about and really helpfull. Their prices are pretty good as well.

It is very nice dealing with them in person or over the phone.
Their web site could use a bit of work though, never updated and not much info on it.

John and Suzzane are first rate. I cannot even begin to describe their service as amazing does not do them justice. If you want the straight goods on your next purchase, just ask, they will tell you if the product is what you need, or if there is a cheaper alternative that will be as good if not better. Finally, somebody understands that excellent service will beat out price every time. Problems happen, but it is all about how far a dealer will go to fix the problem, and make things right. John and Suzzane go the extra mile.

They are great. Service is excellent, alway willing to help and considerations above the norm. Having placed an order but making a mistake on the tax, Perceptor recalculated and forwarded an order to me, fully paid!! I have ordered from them a number of times over the years and the service is always given with consideration to the purchaser. You can't go wrong, and the prices are excellent as well!!

Only purchased from Perceptor a couple of times and drove to their office for pickup, but VERY happy with them. This is what I always thought an astronomy dealer should be -- knowledgeable people, obviously into all aspects of astronomy, able to make good recommendations on everything from books to CCD cameras and used C11's.

I thought their prices were competitive, and it's certainly a more enjoyable place to shop than any other dealer I have seen.

A couple of people made negative comments about the office space, but I really liked it. They have **everything** sitting around somewhere -- you just might have to step over a few things to find it.

John and Susanne are nice people to deal with, and run the best dealership I have seen in Canada !

I have only had the opportunity to deal with Perceptor recently. After years of dealing with many other Astronomy shops Perceptor has risen to the top of my first try to get from shop. They take a keen interest in what I am trying to do when I've come to them and they are constantly coming up with suggestions that not only end up saving me money but when I do purchase is the right product.

The only way I can show my gratitude is to continue to purchase from them.

I've ordered from them off and on over the past 7-8 years and have always found them to be helpful and quick in processing the order.
Today I received a Kendrick Controller. I had not enclosed with the order the correct amount but rather than delay or inconvenience me they discounted a percentage to bring things in line.
I've heard others say Perceptors prices are high but that is simply not true, they are quite competitive with other dealers in Canada. For service they are the best and for the price of a stamp will forward an extensive Price list of the items they sell.
