This is based on the purchase of one used scope: All emails were answered in a timely fashion. Succinct answers were given to all questions but perhaps too brief, as details were sometimes left unspecified requiring follow-up questions. But these were answered completely and accurately. They are fair minded in regards to their consignment customers and accurately described the merchandise (important in buying used equipment). Shipping was done quickly and follow up questions were answered. Very satisfactory service.

Steve Barnes is very knowledgable and friendly to talk to. Laid back, low-pressure approach to retailing. If he doesn't have the item in stock, he won't try selling you something he does have, just to make a sale.
A pleasure to deal with, or just "talk astronomy".

I buy most of my equipment here. Steve knows his stuff and he has always been up front with me about any product that he sells. A nice store and a comfortable atmosphere. It is nice to buy telescope gear from someone who actually gets out and observes all the time.

Very good service, no misrepresentation, a pleasure to deal with. Yes, I have dealt with Perceptor, Khan, EfstonScience and Pocono before, but I prefer Sky Optics.

Also, Steve is very knowledgable about the products that he carries. I have no qualms about recommending anyone to Sky Optics.

Initial response to my query for dew heaters was slow and had to request info twice. Upon placing order, took almost 5 weeks and then requesting information on the status of order brought no reply.
The service seems to be on par with another Canadian company, KhanScope. Look elsewhere, you can do better.
