The reports at Cloudy Nights are super. The forums have hundreds of experienced astronomers that can help you with whatever euipment issue you might be dealing with.

I had a question of collimation and it was answered in 15 minutes.

Cloudy Nights
Cloudy Nights - like Excelsis - attracts reviewers who will go to any lengths to defend their products. There is hardly a single product on Cloudy Night's site that gets a bad - heck, a mediocre - review. Nobody likes to pay top dollar for a piece of equipment (and we know how expensive astronomy can be), only to have buyer's remorse. Admittedly, this goes on in virtually all hobbies, so take it for what it's worth.

Cloudy Nights is a great name for the greatest site! There's lots of valuble reviews by other astronomers and informative how-to stuff. The site is a bit disorganized, but you'll eventually find your way through.

I have enjoyed Cloudy Nights as a place where I can gain valuable, trustworthy information on variety of subjects. It's a little uneven, but well worth the time to sift through the loads of info for something that will help you out.

This is one of the best review sites on the web. Much more information and more entertaining then Todd G. site. Sorry Todd yours is just a little boring and it is nice to see some pictures of what's being reviewed. Also what's up with the super small text Todd.

Very good site. Informative and objective. Id rate this about
the same as Ed Tings site. Both are a place to be to find
out about astronomy, telescopes and accesories. His site is highly
reccomemded.

Many good articles at this site. I have found many to be a valueable resource for comparison or for learning about a product. And visit the How To section for an approach to posting that let's others share their knowledge. You will notice that there is no advertising attached to this site. Job very well done.
