Antares Plossl 10mm
I picked up this five-element plossl design (same as Celestron's Ultimas an Orion's Ultrascopics) to fill in the gap between my 12.5mm and 7.5mm Ultimas. Though the eye relief is tight (as is any plossl in this range), the performance is stunning.

I used this eyepiece in my 6" f/5 reflector for 75x on M1, M42, several smaller open star clusters and globulars and was absolutely blown away. It outperformed both my 12.5mm and barlowed 18mm Ultimas. Stars were pinpoint sharp to the edge of the field and contrast was outstanding - the most detailed and contrasty view of the Orion Nebula I have ever had with lots of mottling, filamentary structure and razor sharp stars in the Trapezium.

Also an excellent planetary eyepiece with sharp and contrasty views of Saturn and Jupiter at both 150x and 225x. Cloud bands and Cassini's division was clearly defined and color was beautiful. Gives my 9mm UO ortho a run for its money with nearly equal contrast, sharpness and eye relief and a superior field of view.

This is now one of my favorite higher power eyepieces and outperforms every other plossl in this range I have looked through. It would be unfair to rate this against eyepieces in other classes. At $60, its a steal and a "10" in the plossl category.
