Sunagor Zoom 20-120x70
If you can get a pair cheap (i.e. no more than £100), they're OK for casually viewing the moon and the usual stuff you can see with 70mm. However, finding this stuff is a nightmare. The FOV is so small even at 20 times that the moon is about the only thing you'll find (unless you spend several hours 'star-hopping''). NOT recommended unless cheap and you already have a tripod!

These binoculars are fairly well constructed, although the zoom mechanism looks a little weak. Furthermore, the eyepieces cannot be moved far enough apart for anyone over 5' 6". These problems allied with poor/average optics and excessive magnification make these are better suited to terrestrial tripod-mounted use by small ornithologists.

I "bought " a pair of these on a " return if unsatisfied " basis from a UK mail order company . I am so glad that I did . I returned them within two hours for my money back . In forty years of binocular observing I have never looked through such a terrible pair . Even at lowest magnification of 20x the F.O.V is a ridiculous 1.2 degrees . If these are the "showpiece " of Sunagor binoculars ,as was stated in the brochure , heaven knows how poor the other models must be . I will give them a rating of ONE as I think they would make a nice twin -candle holder for the mantlepiece .
